Big Dreams Big Prayers Bible for Kids NIV

I got the new Big Dreams, Big Prayers Bible for Kids NIV by Zondervan for my son to take to Church. I was really impressed with this bible and he has enjoyed it as well. It has a very modern up to date cover with bright colors. Now that he is older this bible is perfect for him. It is recommended for ages 8-12 and is great for both boys and girls. At the beginning of each book it has a summary page that includes who wrote the book, why it was written, what you will learn, who the people of the book are, when it happened and where it happened. Through out the bible important verses are already highlighted, Devotions including big dreams and big prayers by important people in the book. There is also a great illustration to help kids understand how to read the bible and know the different parts of the book. I the back of the bible is a prayer journal, topical index to find important key words throughout the bible and a devotion index. These really help the children find important parts of the bible and go back to read them further. If your child wants to read the entire bible their is a reading plan also listed in the back. It breaks it down into weeks and what books to read every day. These include the most talked about and referenced parts of the bible.
