Holiday Gift Idea! Spark Creativity With Ellie Claire Art Journals

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Worthy Publishing and Ellie Claire. All opinions are always my own.

Christmas is coming up and if you are looking for the perfect gift for someone who loves to draw, journal or color these Art Journals by Ellie Claire would make the perfect gifts. Or get one for yourself because these journals are beautiful! I was so excited to get these in the mail. I am keeping one (The Illustrated Word), giving one to my daughter and gifting a friend with one.

Before I go into what I think about these 3 art journals I want to give you a little overview of each.

*THE ILLUSTRATED WORD*  Create your own masterpiece with this journal that has forty glorious illustrations from ancient manuscripts that have been recreated as line drawings. Just as medieval monks brought Scripture to life through intricate inked illustrations in handwritten manuscripts hundreds of years ago, you can now create your own stunning keepsake that will be treasured for years to come.

All 3 of these are beautiful art journals. The covers are fun, colorful and inviting. Beautiful lettering embossed with gold just makes you want to pick them up. And I don’t think you will want to put them down.

Illuminate Your Story  has an elastic band on the spine to put a pen, pencil or marker in for safe keeping. It also includes a small fabric page saver, easy to pick up and start where you left off. It’s a hardback book with thick card stock pages which prevent bleeding through the pages. This book is fun because it goes through the entire alphabet showing you how to create beautiful illuminated manuscripts. Each letter includes step by step instructions for creating it, as well as blank spaces to practice each letter. There are several blank journal pages throughout the book along with some inspirational quotes.

Faith & Lettering also has an elastic band on the side to put a pen or marker. There are inspirational bible verses throughout, journaling pages and how to drawing pages and practice drawing pages. This book I decided to give to my daughter. She loves to write, color and draw and is learning to keep a journal.

The Illustrated Word is my favorite journal, the one I decided to keep. Several of the pages features a small colored picture and a small informational sentence that pertains to each picture. I chose this one because it has coloring pages throughout and I just find that fun and relaxing. Journaling is such a relaxing time to destress, to open your heart mind and jot down those thoughts.

If you’re looking for a gift these make great ones. These are perfect for beginners or long time journalers. But a word of advice…I would probably pick up 2 or more because you are going to want to keep one (or 2 or 3!!) for yourself.
