Mystery Tackle Box Review

I received free items in exchange for this review. All opinions are always my own.

One thing we like to do as a family is fish. We love fishing and during the summer go just about weekly. I was recently sent a subscription box from Mystery Tackle Box for review.

What is Mystery Tackle Box?

Mystery Tackle BoxMystery Tackle Box is the #1 fishing tackle subscription service offering anglers and fishing enthusiasts a fun and affordable way to discover new fishing lures, learn new techniques and catch more fish! If you, or someone you love, enjoys fishing, get them a Mystery Tackle Box Subscription today. You’ll enjoy a monthly box full of new and innovative fishing lures and products, content on how to use everything, plus stickers and special offers.

Subscriptions offered are 1, 3, 6 or 12 month subscriptions. And they all ship free to US or Canada.  Boxes start at $14.99 for the regular box or $24.99 for the Pro box. Of course choosing a 3, 6 or 12 month subscription saves you a little more money than buying 1 month at a time. And you are free to cancel at anytime.

When signing up choose between the regular or Pro box, choose the subscription length then choose the species of fish you are after. This helps customize a box that will fit your needs, nobody wants to pay for something they aren’t going to use. And you can change your fishing species at any time! This allows you to try out different products for different species at lower prices. You can also add items to your box (at additional costs), refer friends and earn credits, learn about your tackle and more by visiting Mystery Tackle Box.

My Box

I love subscription boxes and think they are an awesome way to save money and try before you buy. I received a Mystery Tackle Box to review and share. I am excited to try out these when the weather gets warmer to fish. I received the Ugly Fishmas Thermal Necko , River2Sea Topwater Bubble Popper Lure, Reaction Strike XRM Spy Series sinking bait, Zero Gravity Jig, Mizmo Artifical Bait and a Mystery Tackle Box sticker. The Necko alone was $12.99! So if I had paid for this I definitely got my moneys worth for it!

The only thing that would have made this box better was an information card of some sorts. Something that told me about the products inside the box so I could learn more about them. There are a few I can’t find on the website so I will have to do some online searching to find out more before I use them. I don’t want to use them on something that they aren’t used for- it’s no fun not catching fish!

Whether you’re just starting to fish or a pro this is a great way to add to your fishing lure collection and try out new products. These also make a great inexpensive gifts too!
