The Berenstain Bears’ Harvest Festival by Mike Berenstain Book Review

The Berenstain Bears' Harvest Festival

I loved Berentsain Bears’ growing up and my children love them too! It’s nice to share a piece of my childhood with them. The Berenstain Bears’ Harvest Festival is a great book to add to their collection. A new addition to the bestselling Berenstain Bears’ Living Lights series that teaches simple Christian truths to children. In this newest addition to the Berenstain Bears Living Lights series, The Berenstain Bears Harvest Festival, it’s autumn in Bear Country and the Chapel in the Woods is celebrating its first ever Harvest Festival. Young readers will delight in joining the Bear family and all their friends as they gather at Farmer Ben’s farm for this new tradition filled with the fun of apple-picking, pumpkin patch wandering, hayrides, and more.

I enjoy reading to my children or listening to my son read some of the characters I loved growing up. This book has the same fun characters and colorful images that I remember growing up with. I love how these books have great morals and can help my children overcome bad situations by following the Christian way. Although I was happy to see the Berenstain Bears’ pray at the end of the book I was hoping that God and his blessings would be a little more tyed into the book. Overall it’s a great read for children of all ages.
