What did we think about it?

This book is so cute with a smiling little girl and glittery butterflies all over the cover.  Brightly colored and cheerful illustrations with rhyming words fill the book. It is easy to read and perfect for beginners. The book follows the journey of a little girl as she wonders what special gift God has given her. Is it dancing or singing , being kind or cheerful? In the end she realizes that the best gift that she can give is God’s love!

I adore the book and that it promotes positivity and allowed me to ask my daughter what she thinks her special gifts are. I do feel that it focused on just being one special gift instead of all the things mentioned being her special gifts. It is also a gentle reminder of what we can do for ourselves and others each and every day to show our love for God and all things He has done for us.
